Chamber of Commerce meeting for November will be held at
the River Bank Restaurant at 3 River Avenue, C-O-H, at 6:30 p.m.

| The Greater Cornwall Chamber of
Commerce (previously known as the Cornwall
Business Association, Inc.) was founded in the early Twentieth
Century. Although the exact date is not known, according to
the amended By-Laws of December 10, 1928, the Cornwall Business
Men's Association, as it was originally named, was alive and
well with meetings on the second Monday of each month."

On December 8,
1952, the Cornwall Business Men's Association was incorporated
as a not-for-profit corporation. In 1984 the Cornwall Business
Men's Association, Inc. amended the certification of incorporation
for purposes of a name change to the Cornwall Business Association,
Inc. Although the name has certainly changed, the purpose
of the Association remains constant.

Cornwall Chamber of Commerce are:

Statement
The objective of the Greater Cornwall Chamber of Commerce
(GCCC) shall be to promote the civic, economic, social welfare
and progress of the people of the greater Cornwall area.
All persons who sympathize with the objective of the GCCC
shall be eligible for membership. |
